Just saw these on a few blogs I follow. Anyone heard of these or used them? The come from a company in Canada. The premise is that the calf stays with its mother for up to 2 weeks with this tag in their nose. They can still eat and drink water, but can’t nurse. Supposedly, these tags can reduce after weaning bawling by 95% and increase time spent eating by 25%.
Maybe I will have to buy my parents a bag (they are reusable and cost about $45 for 25) to try this fall to see if they really work! The reviews I’ve seen online are positive. What do you think?
